Pneu Therm manufactures a range of ceramic core elements where the resistance wire is wound on to the outer diameter of the ceramic former.

This externally heated former can then be used with or without a secondary protective insulator over the top of the exposed resistance wire. In many of our applications a Silica quartz sheath tube is used to insulate the resistance wire within the application.
